Adam Safer is a managing director at Piper Sandler and a salesperson in the institutional municipal group where he focuses on taxable and tax-free municipal products. In this role, he handles coverage for large investment institutions, including mutual funds, insurance companies and money managers.  

Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Safer held a similar role at George K. Baum. He started his career as a trader and portfolio manager at First Data Corp, where he managed the investment portfolios of multiple subsidiaries for the company.

Safer graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and received his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
