Ahmad El Naggar

Ahmad El Naggar is a director at Piper Heartland Healthcare Capital. Previously, he worked with the healthcare investment banking group at Piper Sandler, having joined the team in 2019.

Prior to Piper Sandler, El Naggar served as a director at Viscogliosi Bros. (VB), a prominent healthcare private equity & venture capital firm specializing in the medical device subsector. At VB, he oversaw direct deal execution, capital raising and the business development and strategic functions of VB’s portfolio companies. His experience encompasses company formation, public and private equity financings, strategic M&A and the commercialization of healthcare innovation.

El Naggar is also a former active-duty U.S. naval officer.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Duke University and a Master of Business Administration degree with distinction from the University of Oxford. He is currently a master’s degree in biotechnology candidate at Johns Hopkins University.
