Alan Roth
Alan Roth is a managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler. In this role, he focuses on the mortgage and asset-backed security trading businesses.
Roth was previously a principal of Sandler O’Neill and Partners, where he managed the fixed income trading desk. He was responsible for the trading of all residential mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities and commercial mortgage backed securities. In addition, Roth led the firm’s effort to expand its services for non-depository clients and developed other esoteric business lines.
Roth joined Sandler O’Neill in 2001. He has over 30 years of investment bank experience, trading at Prudential Securities, UBS, DLJ and ABN Amro.
Roth holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from SUNY Albany and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Fordham Graduate School of Business.
