Amit Jain

Amit Jain is managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler. 
   
Previously, Jain was a managing director in financial institutions for Nomura Securities International, where he served as global coordinator for the asset management sector and lead coverage officer for domestic clients. Jain has over 18 years of investment banking experience, including 15 years focused on asset managers, during which time he has worked on over 75 capital raising and M&A transactions. 
   
Before joining Nomura in 2018, Jain was a managing director for Wells Fargo Securities, where he was responsible for origination and execution of M&A, and equity and debt capital markets transactions for asset management clients. Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2010, he worked at Citigroup Global Markets from 2006-2009. Jain began his investment banking career with J.P. Morgan in 2000. 
   
Jain holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Tufts University
