Anton Ticktin
Anton Ticktin is a managing director in the chemicals group at Piper Sandler.
He was a partner and lead the research team of The Valence Group and has spent the last 30 years working exclusively in the chemicals sector including industry, consulting, M&A due diligence and investment banking. He has worked across most areas of chemicals and has expertise across more than 180 chemical sectors and sub-segments.
Ticktin has advised all the main private equity firms both in Europe and North America and has worked on the majority of larger European financial sponsor led acquisitions. Additionally, he has also led engagements for many larger corporate clients in Europe, South East Asia and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Valence in 2011, Ticktin was in consulting and led the Nexant Chemicals M&A due diligence and strategy consulting group and was also a strategy consultant at Gemini Consulting. Prior to that, he spent eight years in business/market development at BASF Ludwigshafen, Germany and Tokyo, Japan. Ticktin was also a co-founder of a medical device company.
Ticktin earned a PhD and bachelor's degree in physical chemistry at Sussex University and a Master of Business Administration degree from IMD.
