Audrey Bear

Audrey Bear is a managing director and member of the local government practice within the public finance group at Piper Sandler. She serves all types of municipal entities, including school districts, vocational technical schools, townships and authorities with borrowing for capital needs.

She began serving Pennsylvania municipal issuers in 2000 with Arthurs, Lestrange & Company. She continued with Ferris, Baker Wats, Incorporated and served with Robert W. Baird & Co., prior to joining Piper Sandler. Bear was employed as an elementary and special education teacher before entering the public finance industry.

Bear graduated cum laude from Shippensburg University with a bachelor’s degree and, with honors, earned her Master of Business Administration from Penn State University. Bear currently serves on the Piper Sandler public finance advisory council and the board of the Pennsylvania Chapter of Women in Public Finance. She holds Series 50, 52, 53 and 63 securities licenses.
