Barbara Wolter

Barbara Wolter is a managing director in the institutional fixed income sales group at Piper Sandler. In this role, she handles coverage for public entities, public and private corporations, money managers, community banks and trust accounts. Wolter joined the firm in 1996 and has worked in an institutional sales capacity ever since.

Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Wolter worked in institutional fixed income sales at U.S. Bancorp, American Bank of St. Paul and National City Bank of Minneapolis.

Wolter holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. She is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), the Minnesota GFOA, the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP), the Minnesota AFP and the Government Investment Officers Association (GIOA).
