Brent Layman

Brent Layman is a managing director in the structured finance group at Piper Sandler. He has 27 years of experience in fixed income and structured finance.

Previously, Layman was a director in the capital raising group at Sandler O’Neill & Partners, L.P., where he joined in 2010. He focused on asset backed securitization and the valuation of loan and securities portfolios. Prior to joining Sandler O’Neill, Layman held various capital markets roles at ICP Capital, Guggenheim capital markets and Ernst & Young structured finance advisory.

Layman received his Master of Business Administration degree from the George Washington University and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
