
Christian Draisbach
Christian Draisbach is a managing director in the healthcare investment banking group at Piper Sandler advising clients in the U.S. and internationally. He is an experienced advisor to senior management teams and boards of public and private biopharmaceutical companies. Over the course of his career, he has engaged with clients across the large- to small-cap spectrum in biopharma, diagnostics and tools, healthcare services and medical devices on a broad range of complex strategic and financial assignments and transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, defense and selectively on equity and debt financings in the public and private capital markets. Draisbach has nearly 20 years of investment banking experience, of which 15 years focused on the healthcare sector.
Prior to joining Piper Sandler in 2025, he was a managing director at Centerview Partners where he spent 13 years primarily focused on clients globally in the life sciences and broader healthcare sectors. Earlier in his career, Draisbach spent seven years at Morgan Stanley in the U.S., Europe and Asia in the firm’s mergers and acquisitions and financial sponsors coverage groups.
Draisbach earned a master’s degree in finance from the London School of Economics & Political Science (U.K.) and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland).
