Cody Wilson is a managing director with Piper Sandler in the municipal real estate investment banking group.
Wilson has over 15 years of experience in U.S. municipal real estate finance and investment banking. He provides significant expertise in real estate development opportunity analysis, and in the funding, implementation and delivery of real estate projects, including those delivered through public-private partnerships (P3s). He has completed over $15 billion of projects and working capital needs for a variety of borrowers. The types of financings on these projects have included HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, USDA, private label securitization, direct bond/loan placements, subordinate bonds, investment grade and non-investment grade bonds, as well as essential function bonds.
Wilson earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Troy University, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree with honors from Troy University.
