Dan Gulbrandson
Dan Gulbrandson is a managing director and member of the Piper Sandler healthcare investment banking team. He has 24 years of investment banking experience and leads the firm’s Information-Driven Health Care effort, focusing on advising and raising capital for HCIT and pharma services companies. Gulbrandson has completed transactions with athenahealth, GE, J&J, LabCorp, Procter & Gamble, Quintiles, Thermo Fisher, UnitedHealth, UDG Healthcare plc, and WebMD.
Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Gulbrandson worked in the investment banking department at Chase Securities in New York and as an analyst for a high-net-worth asset management group in Minneapolis.
Gulbrandson received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation.
