Dan Gulbrandson

Dan Gulbrandson is a managing director and head of corporate development at Piper Sandler. For over 27 years prior, he was a member of the Piper Sandler healthcare investment banking team and led the firm’s information-driven healthcare effort, focusing on M&A advisory and capital raising for HCIT and pharma services companies. Gulbrandson completed transactions with Athenahealth, GE, Internet Brands/WebMD, J&J, LabCorp, Procter & Gamble, Quintiles and UnitedHealth/Optum. 

Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Gulbrandson worked in the investment banking department at Chase Securities in New York and on the buyside for a high-net-worth wealth management group. 

Gulbrandson received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation.
