Declan O'Callaghan

Declan O'Callaghan is a managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler.

Previously, O’Callaghan was a director at Sandler O'Neill + Partners, L.P. where he worked for over two years. His primary responsibilities included working with Sandler’s fixed income and investment banking groups to provide loan sales solutions for clients.

Prior to joining Sandler O'Neill, O’Callaghan was a director in the bank depository group at Guggenheim Securities, focusing on both loan sales and bond sales for the company’s bank clients. Before Guggenheim, he spent 11 years at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. where he was senior vice president of the loan portfolio strategies group. While at KBW, he was the primary sales person within the loan portfolio strategies group and as such he developed senior level relationships with banks and funds across the country. He also worked closely with the investment banking group at KBW to provide overall balance sheet solutions for the companies’ clients. While at KBW, he also worked on the sale of multi-billion dollar performing, sub-performing and non-performing loan portfolios for the FDIC.
