Edward Stein

Edward Stein is a managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler.

He has worked with middle-market commercial banks and thrifts for over 25 years. He advises commercial bank and thrift clients in the areas of asset liability management, balance sheet restructuring and strategic business planning.

Previously, he was a principal with Sandler O'Neill + Partners, L.P. Prior to this, he was a group vice president at First American Bank. In this position, Stein created, developed and managed the bank's capital market group. Before joining First American Bank, he was a vice president and group manager at L.F. Rothschild in its bank service group.

Stein holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the University of Maryland.
