Eric Heringer
Eric Heringer is a managing director in the Piper Sandler Idaho office. He started his career in public finance in 1998 and has focused on serving municipal clients in Idaho since moving to Boise in 2002. He works with a variety of Idaho municipalities on the full range of debt offerings including general obligation, revenue, lease transactions, tax increment financing and short-term borrowings.
His clients include school districts, cities, counties, state-level borrowers, urban renewal agencies, universities and other special purpose districts throughout Idaho. Heringer was the lead banker in developing the Idaho Bond Bank Authority’s pooled financing program and has served as the financial advisor to the Idaho State Building Authority since 2002. He has been the lead banker on the majority of public K-12 school financings issued since 2002.
His presence and accessibility in Boise provide Idaho issuers with a local contact for ongoing service and expertise with the many political, economic and credit factors that impact Idaho public finance.
Heringer graduated magna cum laude with a degree in business economics from Willamette University. He currently holds FINRA Series 7, 50, 53 and 63 securities licenses.
