Eric Miller

Eric Miller is a managing director and head of the private placement group at Piper Sandler. Since joining Piper Sandler, Miller has successfully raised more than $3 billion in private capital for the firm’s clients within the technology, healthcare, renewable energy, business services/industrials and consumer sectors.

Prior to joining Piper Sandler in 2006, Miller was an associate at Lehman Brothers in its global technology group. Previously, he was a senior analyst with RBC Capital Markets’ technology investment banking group where his responsibilities included private placements, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions. Prior to RBC, Miller served as an F-15 avionics technician in the U.S. Air Force.

Miller received a bachelor's degree from The University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
