Garry Vaynberg

Garry Vaynberg is a managing director in Piper Sandler services & industrials investment banking and head of the building products and distribution practices. He focuses on providing a full range of investment banking services, including M&A and capital-raising. Vaynberg has more than 18 years of financial advisory experience.

Prior to joining Piper Sandler in 2004, Vaynberg worked at ShoreView Industries, a middle-market private equity firm and at A.G. Edwards & Sons, a middle-market investment banking firm. He has worked on a variety of transactions in his career, including sell-side assignments, buyer advisory, fairness opinions, restructuring advisory and public and private offerings of equity and debt. He also co-founded a venture capital-financed media company.

Vaynberg has a bachelor's degree in actuarial science and finance from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Columbia Business School.
