Ira H. Green Jr. joined the energy & power investment banking group at Piper Sandler in 2002 and has almost 30 years of energy investment banking experience. Green is head of energy & power capital markets and also focuses on banking in the renewables & clean energy sector.
Green has worked at several large Wall Street firms, including Morgan Stanley, First Boston and Merrill Lynch, where he served as a managing director in the energy group. Prior to joining Piper Sandler, he was president and CFO of SalvageSale, Inc., an internet marketplace for the sale of salvage.
Green graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in finance with highest honors. He also earned a Master of Business Administration degree with distinction from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
