James Williams
James Williams is a managing director at Piper Sandler. He is responsible for trading new issue and secondary agency CMBS products, as well as facilitating balance sheet restructurings through client and dealer relationships. Before joining the Piper Sandler fixed income trading team, Williams worked in the firm’s quantitative analysis group. Prior to that, he was part of the investment banking group with a focus on conversions. He joined the firm in 2005.
Williams holds a bachelor's degree in finance and accounting from Northeastern University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He is on the board of directors of Kevinsfoundation.org, a non-profit that helps underprivileged children attend summer camps.
