Jane Fielding

Jane Fielding is a director in the fixed income sales group at Piper Sandler, with a primary focus on the public entities space.

Fielding has spent the last five years at Piper Sandler working as a public entities fixed income specialist. She assists clients in implementing investment strategies based on their investment policy, objectives, cash flow needs and current market environment, and in doing so develops trusted relationships with treasurers, finance directors and investment officers.

Fielding has over 25 years of capital markets and institutional sales experience. Her expertise in fixed income products includes U.S. Treasury, U.S. agency securities, corporate bonds, municipal bonds, commercial paper, certificate of deposits and mortgage-backed securities (MBS, CMBS and ABS). Fielding also has experience in both cash flow and market analysis, as well as a deep understanding in various state investment codes and public entity investment policies.

Fielding is an active member of the California Association of County Treasurers and Tax Collector (CACTTC), the California Municipal Treasures Association (CMTA) and the California Society Municipal Finance Officer (CSMFO). At Piper Sandler, Fielding is involved in the Women’s Network.
