Jason Freund

Jason Freund is a managing director at Piper Sandler in fixed income sales.

Previously, he was a co-founder and partner of Corrib Capital Management L.P., an event-driven credit hedge fund where he focused on financial sector investments as well the firm’s capital formation efforts.    

Prior to then, he was a managing director at Imperial Capital LLC. focused on special situations and capital structure.  Additionally, he was a managing director and sales co-head at Cohen & Company, Inc. concentrating on the CLO/CDO market.

Freund began his career in investment banking at Robert W. Baird and later Keefe, Bruyette and Woods, where he worked in both mergers and acquisitions as well as capital markets.      

Freund holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Marquette University.
