Jay Spearman

Jay Spearman is a managing director in the public finance group at Piper Sandler. Spearman primarily works with local government entities in the State of Nebraska, including school districts, higher education, cities and villages, public power districts, counties and rural fire protection districts. Spearman began his career in 1999 and has been servicing Nebraska issuers through the bond issuance process ever since. He has structured and sold more than $1 billion of financings for a variety of credits and municipal issuers.

Spearman graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University. He currently holds the FINRA Series 7, Series 50 and Series 66 securities licenses.
