Jeremy Goebel
Jeremy Goebel is the head of U.S. Government bond trading at Piper Sandler. In this role, he is responsible for managing the firm’s liquidity in the treasury fixed income space, as well as providing updated market trends and gathering relevant information to help identify opportunities for clients, sales and trading desks to meet their financial objectives.
Goebel joined Piper Sandler in 2014 and spent 5 years in the Hopwood Lane division as a treasury prop trader, before transitioning into his current role in fixed income. Prior to joining Piper the firm, Goebel worked as a treasury/agency trader at Wells Fargo Securities for 15 years.
Goebel graduated from St. Johns University with a bachelor’s degree in business management, and he received a master’s degree in finance from the University of St. Thomas, as well as a master’s in forensic accounting from the University of Indiana. Goebel is also an EMT/Firefighter for the City of Jordan, and he served 18 years as an elected City Council official.
