Jessica Hayward

Jessica Hayward is a director in the energy & power investment group at Piper Sandler. 

Previously, Hayward was a senior exploration geologist at Quantum Energy Partners-backed Vitruvian Exploration, where she focused on identifying acquisition opportunities and strategic development planning of Vitruvian's asset base. Prior to that, she was a geologist at ConocoPhillips in the global new ventures exploration team focused on developing new unconventional and conventional plays across 15 countries. Hayward provides deep subsurface technical expertise to the firm’s upstream and midstream sectors, successfully representing transactions totaling over $5 billion in aggregate value. 

Hayward graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in geosciences. She holds a master’s degree in geology from the University of West Virginia.
