Jimmy Chang is a director in the financial services group, focusing on diversified financial services. He has more than 10 years of experience in advising financial services clients and has executed on a variety of transactions and advisory engagements, including mergers & acquisitions, capital raising, restructuring, takeover defense, and valuation analysis.
Before joining Piper Sandler in 2015, Chang was an investment banking associate at Lazard, covering middle market diversified financial services, including specialty finance, asset management, broker-dealers, financial technology, and insurance. Prior to that role, he was an investment banking associate at Freeman & Co. and Financial Technology Partners, boutique investment banks focused exclusively on financial services and financial technology, respectively. Chang has also served as a management consultant for Inductis advising credit card and insurance companies on strategic initiatives.
Chang holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Yale University.
