Joel Schneider

Joel Schneider is a managing director in the Piper Sandler financial sponsors group and the equity capital markets group. He is responsible for the firm’s equity origination coverage of the media & entertainment and consumer & retail sectors. Schneider has more than 25 years of experience in the industry and has primarily focused on middle market and emerging market growth companies.

Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Schneider worked in equity capital markets at Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers. He began his capital markets career covering emerging market companies at Santander, Bankers Trust and James Capel.

Schneider received his Master of Business Administration degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business and his bachelor’s degree in accounting from George Washington University.
