Joey Vandergrift
Joey Vandergrift is a managing director in the financial strategies group at Piper Sandler. In this role, he is primarily responsible for leading the firm’s credit union strategy effort, focusing on balance sheet management, fixed income portfolio construction and strategies to maximize financial performance.
Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Vandergrift was a managing director and senior depository strategist at Raymond James, where he helped develop the company’s depository platform. He started his career at Morgan Keegan as an asset/liability analyst in 2000, and he led the firm’s ALM group from 2003-2012.
Vandergrift holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Christian Brothers University. He holds the FINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 63 registrations.
