John Downes

John Downes is a director in the Piper Sandler healthcare investment banking group. Based in the firm’s London office, he will aid in expanding the European healthcare team and global pharma outsourcing coverage.

Downes brings over 10 years of healthcare-focused investment banking experience to Piper Sandler. Most recently, he was a vice president at Barclays Investment Bank. Prior to that, he was an associate in the healthcare investment banking team at Societe Generale in Frankfurt.

Downes obtained a master’s degree in management with a specialization in finance, at the Neoma Business School in France.
