John Duffy is a managing director in the structured products group within fixed income at Piper Sandler. In this role, he focuses on mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and serves insurance companies, money managers, private equity firms, GSEs, hedge funds, REITs and depository institutions.
He brings over 20 years of trusted institutional sales experience to his residential mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities and commercial mortgage-backed securities client relationships. Prior to joining the firm, he was an executive director at Daiwa Securities Corp, Deutsche Bank and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette focusing on MBS client services.
Duffy holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Villanova University.
