John Mulligan

John Mulligan is a director in the Piper Sandler healthcare investment banking group, focusing on healthcare services. Mulligan joined the firm in 2022 and is involved in a full range of investment banking activities, including buy side and sell side M&A transactions, capital raises and restructurings.

Prior to Piper Sandler, Mulligan was a senior director in the global corporate development group at Walgreens Boots Alliance, executing investments to further the company’s healthcare strategies. Before joining Walgreens, Mulligan spent five years at Moelis & Co., most recently as a vice president, working with public and private clients across a range of sectors with a primary focus on M&A advisory. Mulligan began his career in energy consulting at ICF International.

Mulligan holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan.
