Kristal Peña

With 15 years of industry experience, Kristal Peña is a director in the upstream sector of the energy & power investment banking group at Piper Sandler.

Peña has contributed to several public and private upstream operators over her career. She has held multidisciplinary engineering, planning and management positions in conventional and unconventional basins across the contiguous United States. Peña has previous investment banking experience from Bank of Montreal followed by Houlihan Lokey.

She received a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
