Kurt Haras

Kurt Haras is a managing director on the services & industrials investment banking team. He is based out of the firm’s Birmingham, Michigan office.

Haras has over 25 years of investment banking experience advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, private placements, public offerings, corporate restructurings and business valuations. His transaction experience includes representing private companies, private equity firms and public companies in domestic and international transactions involving a number of industries, such as business services, niche manufacturing and specialty distribution.

Haras was previously at TD Cowen, where he was a managing director on the business services team, with a primary focus on facility services and specialty distribution. Prior to joining TD Cowen, Haras was a founding member and partner at Quarton International. Prior to Quarton, he spent nine years at W. Y. Campbell & Company. He also held positions at Oppenheimer & Co. and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

He graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and received his Master of Business Administration degree from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He is also a certified public accountant (registered) in the state of Michigan.
