Matt Guyton

Matt Guyton joined the energy & power investment banking group at Piper Sandler in 2018 and focuses on the oilfield services and equipment, energy technology and renewables & clean energy sectors.

Prior to joining the firm, Guyton spent more than two years in the energy investment banking group at Wells Fargo Securities and two years at Bechtel in supply chain quality assurance supporting global energy and power projects. He also spent five years as a U.S. Naval Officer qualifying nuclear engineer and surface warfare officer.

Guyton earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University, and he graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
