Matthew Rademacher is a senior vice president in the project finance group of Piper Sandler with over 25 years of investment banking experience. Rademacher joined Piper Sandler in 2016, following positions at UBS Investment Bank, its predecessor firms and the project finance group at Raymond James & Associates, Inc.

Rademacher has extensive experience with corporate-related financings for project developments in the power and co-generation, waste-to-energy, infrastructure, agricultural and solid waste disposal sectors. Rademacher has completed numerous transactions for waste-to-value projects in the recycling and sustainable industrial manufacturing sectors. Rademacher brings a broad knowledge of credit and financing alternatives, with expertise encompassing all facets of deal management including developing capital structures, creating and maintaining complex financial models, conducting due diligence, assisting with lender negotiations, managing deal teams and overall deal execution. At his predecessor firms, Rademacher performed integral roles advising his clients in structuring and executing transactions in excess of $8 billion in the tax-exempt and taxable municipal, commercial bank and direct private placement markets.

Rademacher earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance at Villanova University.
