Mike Sullivan

Mike Sullivan is a managing director in the Piper Sandler special district group. Sullivan brings more than eight years of debt, capital markets and special district finance experience to the team. He is responsible for the Colorado and Utah special district practices in areas such as transaction execution, debt structuring, disclosure and document review, financial modeling and coordination of credit rating process. He works with clients at all phases of the development cycle, ranging from early stage, non-rated transactions to investment grade refinancings.

Before joining Piper Sandler, Sullivan was a vice president at D.A. Davidson & Co. with a similar focus on special district financings. Prior to that, he served as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs in Dallas, Texas.

Additionally, Sullivan serves as a board member for HomeAid Colorado. Sullivan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of Colorado Boulder.
