Reid Brewer is a managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler. His primary responsibilities include providing a broad range of strategic advisory services to Piper Sandler’s depository institutional clients, including general industry and economic advisory, M&A transaction advisory and capital raising services. Brewer has primarily focused his advisory services in the Southeast United States and has presented at numerous industry conferences. His experience includes several cross-borders M&A transactions.
Brewer has advised on over 40 bank and thrift merger transactions with aggregate transaction value in excess of $7.0 billion, with individual transaction values ranging from $10 million to $3.7 billion. He has advised on multiple capital raising transactions including public follow-on offerings of common equity, private placements of common equity, and public and private placement of debt securities, with an aggregate capital raising transaction value in excess of $1.0 billion.
Brewer began his 13-year career in 2007 as an investment banking analyst with Sandler O’Neill + Partners, L.P., where he covered depository institutions.
Brewer graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
