Rita Wang

Rita Wang is a managing director in the healthcare investment banking group at Piper Sandler Sandler focused on the biopharmaceuticals sector

She has successfully advised healthcare clients on more than 140 transactions, with aggregate transaction value exceeding $35 billion. Her experience spans a full range of investment banking activities, including both public and private equity, equity-linked and debt financings as well as M&A advisory. Prior to joining Piper Sandler in 2015, Wang was a vice president in the healthcare investment banking group at RBC Capital Markets, where she spent nine years focused primarily on biopharmaceutical companies.

Wang holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California – San Diego.
