Rob Shelley
Rob Shelley is a managing director at Piper Sandler where he plays an active role in the public finance group and serves as financial advisor to many of the firm’s largest advisory clients. Additionally, he previously managed the northwest region’s team of quantitative analysts. In these roles, he has gained extensive experience in all aspects of debt issuance and structuring for issuers of both revenue and general obligation bonds in Washington, Oregon, Alaska and Idaho. Over the course of his career, Shelley has worked with a variety of clients to execute new money and refinancing transactions, general obligation and revenue bonds, Build America Bonds, fixed- and variable-rate issues, lease-backed debt, pension bonds, bank placements and letter of credit facilities, as well as interim financing solutions.
Shelley holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Washington.
