Ronald Herzlinger
Ronald Herzlinger is a managing director in the fixed income financial institutions sales group at Piper Sandler. He is responsible for managing client relationships with both public and private depository institutions nationwide. Herzlinger advises these depository clients in the areas of balance sheet, interest rate risk, loan and investment portfolio strategy and management.
Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Herzlinger re-joined Sandler O'Neill + Partners in 2014, where he had previously worked for 17 years as a partner in the balance sheet management group. Prior to re-joining Sandler O’Neill, Herzlinger was a managing director in the fixed income institutional taxable sales group at Stifel Financial. Prior to that, Herzlinger served as a managing director and the director of depositories in the fixed income balance sheet strategies group at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc. Herzlinger also previously served as an investment banker with Milestone Advisors, a boutique financial services investment bank headquartered in Washington D.C. While at Milestone, Herzlinger worked with sell-side clients, primarily insured depository institutions, as well as buy-side private equity and hedge funds looking to make principal investments in insured depositories.
Herzlinger began his Wall Street career in 1986 at Prudential-Bache Securities, and he is a graduate of the University of Arizona.
