Ryan Swanson

Ryan Swanson is a senior vice president in the Piper Sandler public finance group. Swanson began his career in finance in 1998. Over the past 19 years, Swanson has provided expertise and guidance on over 350 transactions for Washington state school districts, ranging from short-term bank loans to multiple authorization, 30-year long-range capital plans. His skill set includes a full range of public finance tools including: debt structuring, financing plan communication, credit strategy, rating agency coordination and post-issuance obligation tracking.

Swanson is a member of Washington Association of School Administrators, Washington Association of School Business Officials and Washington State School Directors’ Association. He graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in botany.
