Sam Nevels

Sam C. Nevels is a managing director in fixed income sales at Piper Sandler. He joined the firm in 2023.

Previously, Nevels was a senior vice president in the institutional sales group at Raymond James. He specialized in servicing municipalities, insurance companies and financial institutions by developing strategic investment plans, providing product information and executing trades in mortgage backed, government and corporate securities. Prior to Raymond James, Nevels was assistant director of business development for Physiotherapy Associates, a division of Stryker Corp.

Nevels holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Oklahoma State University. He holds Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
