Shane Miner

Shane Miner is a vice president in the special district group at Piper Sandler, focusing on financial modeling and quantitative work.

Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Miner was a senior vice president at BBVA USA as part of a public finance team focused on lending to special district clients and providing tax increment financings. With more than 15 years of experience, Miner has been involved in the structuring and underwriting of over $2 billion in special district financings as well as a variety of other types of public finance and commercial loans.

Miner earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Iowa and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from the University of Colorado at Denver.
