Simon Milne graduated from the University of Cape Town with a bachelor of commerce degree and holds a masters in finance degree from London Business School.
He qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte & Touche. Previously, he was a director in the M&A team at UBS Warburg, involved in the execution of transactions predominantly in the retail and consumer goods sector. Prior to that, he worked for the corporate finance division of Standard Bank London where he focused on cross-border M&A.
Milne joined Stamford Partners in 2003 and has advised on a significant number of corporate development, disposal, acquisition and other assignments for corporate clients including Burtons Biscuits, Premier Foods, Unilever, private equity clients including Exponent, CapVest and Bridgepoint Capital and entrepreneurial and family owned companies including William Jackson, Natural Balance Foods and Harrogate Water.
