Stacy Zimring
Stacy Zimring is a managing director in the fixed income loan strategies group at Piper Sandler. Her responsibilities include executing transactions for the sale of performing and non-performing loans of all product types, conducting operational reviews of loan origination and servicing operations to support the feasibility or execution of identified strategic transactions, as well as product analysis. She also assists with asset portfolio analysis to identify opportunities from balance sheet restructuring to gain/loss exit strategies.
Before joining Sandler O’Neill in January 2013, Zimring was a member of the loan portfolio strategies group at Keefe, Bruyette and Woods, Inc. (KBW), where she focused on loan sales and transaction management, analytics support and research on the credit and debt markets. Prior to her 12 years at KBW, Zimring was a vice president at Société Générale, where she helped manage the company’s regulatory and economic capital for the $53 billion Americas portfolio. She was also a member of the company’s syndications group, where she was responsible for information management, including designing and implementing databases and streamlining reporting for all syndicated transactions and for the loan portfolio sales and credit default swap programs.
Zimring holds a bachelor’s degree in physiology and neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego and a dual Master of Business Administration degree in finance and strategic management systems from Fordham University. She is a FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 registered representative.
