Stephen Glassgold

Stephen Glassgold is a managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler.

Previously, he was a principal of Sandler O'Neill + Partners, L.P., where he worked with senior management teams of U.S. financial institutions to develop detailed balance sheet programs tailored to overall corporate planning and strategic goals.

Glassgold also assisted banks in capital raising and mergers and acquisitions. He has advised on a number of deals including Reliance Bancshares in its merger with Simmons First National Corporation, Enterprise Financial Services Corp in its acquisition of Jefferson County Bancshares, Pulaski Financial Corp. in its merger with First Busey Corporation, and Merchants Bancorp on their initial public offering.

In addition, he worked with a variety of private equity firms, hedge funds, and money managers in evaluating and executing equity and debt investments in financial institutions.

Glassgold holds a bachelor’s degree in both finance and business information systems from Lehigh University.
