Tim Curran
Tim Curran is a managing director in the financial services group at Piper Sandler. He works with senior management teams of U.S. depositories on asset and liability management, balance sheet restructurings, strategic planning, and capital raising. His product expertise includes mortgage-backed securities, municipal bonds, non-agency RMBS/CMBS, government guaranteed loans and whole loans.
Prior to Piper Sandler, Curran spent 17 years at Raymond James where he was a managing director in the fixed income sales group and an institutional equity trader with a focus on banks, asset managers and insurance companies. Before that, he was with Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch, both in New York.
Curran graduated from Duke University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He holds Series 7, Series 63, Series 24 and Life Insurance licenses.
