Victor E. Ume-Ukeje

Victor E. Ume-Ukeje is a managing director in the fixed income group at Piper Sandler. In this role, he specializes in public agency and governmental entity investing, in addition to banking relationships.

Ume-Ukeje joined the firm in 2000 and has been a key participant on the diversity, equity & inclusion council, as well as the multicultural network. He has significantly contributed to various efforts that have helped make Piper Sandler a more inclusive place to work.

Prior to joining Piper Sandler, Ume-Ukeje worked at Bank of California, which later became Union Bank of California. He graduated from the University of San Francisco, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and a master's degree in banking.
