Xue Jiao Chen

Xue Jiao Chen is a director in the chemicals group at Piper Sandler. Prior to Piper Sandler, Chen worked at The Valence Group, a boutique investment bank focused on chemicals & materials M&A that was acquired by Piper Sandler in 2020.

Over her career, Chen has advised on more than 15 completed M&A transactions totaling over $20 billion value including sell-sides and buy-sides for private and publicly-listed companies globally. Representative transactions include the acquisition of Allnex by PTT Global Chemical, acquisition of Perstorp by PETRONAS Chemicals Group and acquisition of Omnova by Synthomer. 

Chen has a master’s degree in banking and finance from the University of St. Gallen and a bachelor’s degree in business management from the Singapore Management University.
