What is a Student Placement?
For 12 months, placement students will play a fundamental role working with an allocated deal team on a varied selection of pitches and projects. The team structure allows placement students to work with a wide range of individuals from analyst to managing director, with full exposure to all aspects of the deal process, from initial meetings through to completion. This well-rounded experience is not just a training ground but the start of your career, where learning directly from both junior and senior bankers, you will build the foundations of your career in corporate finance.
Placement students will have both dedicated responsibilities and support with ad-hoc requests, making a meaningful contribution to the team.
We recruit our 12-month placement students to join us from the start of summer. Applicants must be in their second year of their degree, which will allow them to complete their third year as a placement student. Please note that not all universities offer this, therefore, please confirm before applying.
The Application & Selection Process
We begin the recruitment process in the autumn, with applications going live from early October. Successful students will be invited for an interview with offers sent by early November.
Follow our social media platforms and keep up to date with our opportunities directly on the careers page.
