MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 29, 2016-- Piper Jaffray Companies (NYSE: PJC), a leading investment bank and asset management firm, announced today it has completed its purchase of Simmons & Company International (“Simmons”), a premier international investment bank specializing in the energy industry. With offices in Houston, Aberdeen, and London, the group offers M&A advisory, capital markets and equity research. The division will operate as Simmons & Company International | Energy Specialists of Piper Jaffray.
